Hyperhidrosis refers to abnormal sweating, such as sweating when it’s not very warm. Individuals who sweat excessively will often drip sweat or soak through their clothing. The main areas affected by excessive sweating are the armpits, the palms of the hand, the groin region, the soles of the feet, the face and chest. Unfortunately, regular antiperspirants don’t work well for patients with this condition.
